Kleinfelder is seeking a Engineering Construction Project Controls Professional for our South area.

 

The Project Coordinator will assist with accounting functions, reporting, invoicing support, travel coordination, and additional administrative support for a variety of projects in our South Division. This individual will perform routine tasks in support of project costs, documents and reporting activities and will assist project managers and program managers with the development and organization of project data. The position will work under the general supervision of the Project Controls Specialist and within specific guidelines and protocols on semi-routine assignments.

  • Raleigh, NC
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Tampa, FL

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists with accurate record keeping and expense documentation of project activities for invoicing based on PM or Project Controls direction. Ensure invoices are prepared promptly with a detailed breakdown of services.
  • Supports project team in aspects of document management.
  • Assists in the logical creation of additional folder structure, usage, and document filing for all areas of the project.
  • Assist Project Controls Associate as requested.
  • Work directly with Project and/or Program Managers to support in the execution of all project controls/coordination processes and systems on large-scale delivery projects.
  • Support Project Managers in contract management, invoicing, document control and collections

Education:

  • Associates degree in finance, business, project management or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • 3 - 6 years related experience working directly in project planning, cost control, using MS Excel.
  • 1+ year of finance, accounting, or construction management,
  • Demonstrate team collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
  • Advanced level of analytical, evaluative, and constructive thinking
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is not required, but preferred.
