Step into Your New Role

In this role you will prepare designs, reports and calculations on complex projects with minimal supervision and guidance. Performs and develops scope for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis. May coordinate assigned staff. Under minimal supervision from Manager works within specific guidelines and protocols on highly complex assignments/problems of limited scope.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads staff professionals and conducts field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support with minimal oversight.
  • Coordinates technical aspects of small to moderate size projects with on-going review and interaction by PMs, senior operations and technical staff.
  • Provides training for entry level technicians and staff professionals.
 
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
 
Experience: 4 to 10 years related experience.
 
Ideal skills include:
  • Manage all phases of project execution including project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
  • Oversee pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns, and manage engineering resources within budget.
  • Lead and participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams ensuring company quality standards and driving customer value.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams and collaborate on a program of design and construction management projects striving for continuous improvement in process development and execution.
  • Nurture and grow client relationships and contracts that include complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Lead, grow, supervise, and mentor staff - supporting the achievement of professional career goals.
 
The candidate should be interested in supporting a variety of civil engineering projects, including multi-disciplinary projects. Additionally, the Staff Professional will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of CoMET services in our team-oriented environment.
 
A successful candidate must be able to:
  • Follow proper procedures,
  • Perform accurate computations, and
  • Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
 
The candidate must be capable of clear and concise verbal and written communication, have the ability to operate with moderate to minimal supervision and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor such as field investigation or assist in construction oversight.
 

Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $63,206 - $105,487.
