Century Engineering is currently seeking motivated and talented Civil Engineering Intern(s) in the Transportation Department in our Hunt Valley, MD and/or our Falls Church, VA office. As part of a design team, you will be responsible for performing tasks on a variety of transportation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop plan details for transportation projects using MicroStation and engineering design software
• Prepare design calculations in accordance with applicable design standards and agency preferences
• Prepare construction quantity computations and cost estimates for various types of transportation projects
• Coordinate with engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet project objectives

 Qualifications:

• Full time Civil Engineering student from an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and design team members
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Sound time management and task prioritization skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
