Job Description

Century Engineering a Kleinfelder Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary professional services firm offering a broad range of services to include consulting, engineering, environmental, planning, design, and construction services. Our MEP Engineering team works together with architects, owners, developers, site development engineers, structural engineers, and other team members. The successful candidate must have experience with the design of building HVAC and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation of buildings.


Job Responsibilities:


•Assist in man-hour estimating.
•Draft technical specifications.
•Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state and/or local codes.
•Complete projects ranging from moderate to high complexity.
•Coordinate work with other disciplines.
•Exercise a wide degree of independent thought and judgment.
•Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings.


Position Requirements:


•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or commensurate experience.
•Minimum of 2 years applicable experience with HVAC and Plumbing design for new construction and renovation of buildings.
•AutoCAD and REVIT experience.
•Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices.


Preferred Skills/Experience:


•Engineer in Training Certificate (EIT) or Professional Engineering License (PE).
•LEED certification.
