Step into Your New Role

 

As an Environmental Project Manager, you will lead projects that provide environmental site investigation and remediation services for Pennsylvania, New Jersey & New York's (PNA) Kleinfelder Area. Particularly, you will perform the full project life cycle for clients across the state of New Jersey. This hybrid opportunity is available in the Hamilton, NJ or our Exton, PA offices.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage all phases of project execution on assigned projects including project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
  • Provide timely and effective communications with internal and external team members regarding project status and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with field and office staff to develop technical capabilities.
  • Effectively prepare scopes and fees for new and/or additional work.
  • Ensure that project team produces high quality execution of tasks assigned.
  • Meet or exceed client and stakeholder schedules and deadlines.
  • Mentor and coach project team members and provide constructive feedback on team members performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, natural science, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of related experience in environmental consulting.
  • 3+ years’ experience in direct project management preferred.
  • Experience preparing regulatory reports, including, Site Investigation Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Reports.
  • Knowledge of financial management concepts.
  • Familiarity with the state of New Jersey technical requirements and regulations for remediation.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and deliver high quality written work products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel across the state of New Jersey.

 

Preferred Experience/Certifications:

 

  • GIS and AutoCAD experience.
  • Professional Engineer License or Professional Geologist License not required but is a plus.
  • Licensed Remediation Specialist Professional (LSRP) not required but is a plus.
