Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Manager to join our team in Denver!   This is a fantastic opportunity that offers a diverse range of challenging project work and a terrific chance to develop professionally!  This person will be managing environmental projects and will be a point of contact with key regional clients.  Join our team where you can grow a career, become a leader, connect with experienced mentors, and maintain a healthy work/life balance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing multi-media environmental compliance support to industrial, transportation, energy, and other clients, to include: air permitting, stormwater permitting, SWPPP/SPCC plan development, waste management, air emission control evaluations, compliance auditing, and industrial hygiene support.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing due diligence evaluations, provide drilling oversight, and perform soil / groundwater / sediment / surface water sampling.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in site assessment and remediation
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or geology
• Advanced knowledge of Colorado regulatory programs
• Ability to quickly progress through Kleinfelder's project manager qualification system
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or within a group
• Previous experience mentoring and training junior staff
• 40-hour health and safety training with up-to-date refresher training
• Previous experience or interest in supporting business development activities
• Ability to travel as needed locally or out of town travel (up to 30% of the time)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Benefits: Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $107,308 - $181,339. We will be accepting applications through May 21, 2025 (90 days since posting date).
