Job Description

As a Senior CADD Designer, you will work on multidisciplinary projects related to energy infrastructure design and construction using a variety of Civil 3D plans, maps, and bills of materials. This position is available in the Pittsburgh, PA or Bridgeport, WV offices with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups.

 

  • Analyze data in order to determine the precision and accuracy of the information received.

 

  • Provide reports, graphs, statements, and recommendations based on analysis.

 

  • Use imagination to develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to problems; design new methods where established methods and procedures are inapplicable or are unavailable.

 

  • Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards.

 

  • May perform field observations, construction inspections, field testing and data collection as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate or technical degree in CADD, Survey, Construction, Engineering, or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or construction related fields or equivalent.

 

  • 5+ years of experience using AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

  • Proven strength in teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
