Our Sacramento, California office has an opening for a Full-time Construction and Materials Testing Dispatcher.

 

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN ENGINEERING, MATERIALS TESTING, AND/OR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

 

We are looking for a team member to join our Construction and Materials Testing dispatching team in Northern California. We work as a unit to form a central dispatch for Northern California Ultimately, there will be times where this position is self-sustained so we are looking to hire a motivated team member to join our supportive team of professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and team building skills, is computer program savvy, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

 

The ideal candidate will work closely with Clients and Project Managers to schedule and dispatch field staff to projects in Northern California.

 

General Job Duties:

  • Schedule and dispatch field staff to projects located in Northern California
  • Create and maintain field files
  • Maintain files of project information electronically such as Work Orders and project instructions
  • Technician certification tracking
  •  Data entry and electronic report distribution
  • Assist with project resourcing

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written with ability to stay poised daily
  • Strict attention to detail for specific project guidelines
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and as a core team member
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and changes in requests randomly
  • Capability to make decisions within guidelines
  • A can-do, team attitude that can handle possible high stress environments
  • Understanding commitments for specific projects that may include 24/7 on-call or weekend focus 
  • General Knowledge of construction terms. 

 

Experience: 3 - 4 years of related experience (preferred but not required)

 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

 

Computer Skills:

Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint required. Deltek database knowledge preferred.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $24.11-$40.25.
