Step into Your New Role 

Kleinfelder is seeking a motivated individual interested in engaging with a wide variety of infrastructure services such as environmental, geotechnical, design, construction, construction materials engineering and testing, and project management across a variety of markets including energy, transportation, and water supporting staff serving both public and private sector clients.  We are seeking support and a fresh perspective as we embark on the 5th year of our Innovation Program and as we re-strategize on our Environmental Social, Government (ESG) initiatives as a growing and diverse infrastructure company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of Kleinfelder’s Technical Director in primary support of Kleinfelder’s Technical Network (KTN), Innovation Program, and ESG Program
  • Support the Innovation Program Steering Committee comprised of senior staff on Kleinfelder’s Innovation Program in various tasks assigned to the Committee
  • Support the Communications Team primarily generating Innovation and ESG Program content for internal and external websites
  • Review Kleinfelder’s Innovation Program entries under various stages and develop concepts for consideration under the following categories:
  • Next steps/future idea innovation
  • Marketing of idea
  • Monetization of idea
  • Feedback on idea implementation
  • Improvements as needed/directed
  • Research the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Services industry to develop a list of new ideas for consideration and/or an alternative(s) based on what is already in Kleinfelder’s Innovation Program
  • Summarize other AEC Innovation Program trends/developments as requested

Skills/Experience

  • College-level Business Education fundamentals
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 Internship Expectations

  • 6-12 months with possible extension to fulltime employment
  • Starting ASAP
  • $24/hour
