Step Into Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Professional who will also serve as an Area Safety Representative for the South Division to join the Permitting and Planning (EP&P) Team in the Mount Dora, Florida office.
The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can provide technical support to ecology and environmental permitting projects. The candidate should also have a general knowledge of environmental and health and safety basic regulatory and legal framework and be able to lead a team of people effectively and act equally as a team member. The position requires strong collaboration skills, ability to effectively and efficiently handle pressure and still keep working schedules.

This position is anticipated to be 70% office work/30% field work. Some travel (local/overnight) is anticipated.
This individual will conduct Area Safety Representative (ASR) duties and responsibilities: ASR responsibilities are associated with ensuring that health and safety requirements are administered at each Kleinfelder office in the South Division (Florida, Georgia, Carolinas). This includes assisting with conducting field audits and assisting with field work. Additionally, opportunities to assist with Task/project management may be available.

Candidate will be required to go through and obtain a Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) New Miner Training certificate as part of on-the-job training, in addition to other relevant safety and service line training as required. Must be able to obtain MSHA instructor certification within 9 months of onboarding.
