Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Wildlife Biologist/Ecologist and Project Manager with a natural science background to oversee projects and to provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to a talented team of junior staff in one of our Sacramento or Bay Area office locations.
Responsibilities also include managing and preparing concise, accurate technical documents; oversight of multi-disciplinary work on simultaneous, diverse energy and related projects; participation and oversight of the preparation of competitive proposals; and an ability to provide professional presentations.
Applicants with substantial experience with the following will be considered: coordination and management of habitat assessments, regulatory permitting, and biological compliance. Ideal candidates should possess a diverse background and understanding of the California flora, fauna, wetlands and waters, and the regulatory environment. Past experience with environmental regulatory permitting, project management and field staff supervision and development is preferred. The position will require coordination with other project managers and multidisciplinary teams, in addition to developing and monitoring project budgets and schedules.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $123,781 - 200,687.
