Step into Your New Role  

 

We are currently looking for an established Program Manager for our Commercial Site Development team.  In this role, you will collaborate closely with all levels of management, technical experts, and construction leaders. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the successful execution and completion of client projects, spearheading business development initiatives, and playing a pivotal role in team development.

 

Qualifications (Essential Criteria):

  • Bachelor’s or better in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Site Design and permitting for commercial projects.
  • Texas PE license is required.
  • Proven history managing client’s expectations.
  • Experience preparing construction documents including plan drawings, specifications, bid documents, and cost opinions.
  • Ability to engage with clients, internal staff, contractors, and community officials.

Duties & Functions:

  • Leadership in guiding staff in the design of commercial site development projects.
  • Ensuring the execution of projects in a productive and profitable manner.
  • Sustaining regular communication with clients.
  • Upholding quality standards for all project deliverables.
  • Crafting fee proposals, monitoring and managing project budgets, and overseeing invoicing processes.
  • Formulating project work plans and scopes of work, coupled with providing project oversight and monitoring project schedules.
  • Active involvement in proposal presentations and project interviews.
  • Regular interactions with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Leading project meetings and delivering presentations.
  • Representing the company in professional organizations and networking events. Planning and design of new construction and redevelopment sites.
  • Preparation of engineering plans, specifications, reports, studies, technical memoranda, and other project documentation.
  • Regulatory knowledge within the project’s jurisdiction.
  • Familiarity with Zoning & Land Use Codes, Subdivision Regulations, and Design Standards
  • Stormwater management, quantity/quality controls. Understanding of Best Management Practices for design and construction.
  • Functional knowledge of sanitary sewer, water, power, gas, and telecom utilities.
  • Grading design for mass earthwork, roadways, parking lots, building pads, sidewalks, and other site improvements. Understanding of ADA & PROWAG design requirements
