From earthquake and seismic engineering to the latest trenchless technology methods, Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services support the planning, engineering, and construction of complex projects, and our specialists are leading experts in their fields.   Step into Your New Role   Kleinfelder is seeking to fill a position of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The position may be based in Kleinfelder's office in Boston or Westborough, MA.   The ideal candidate will: - Direct junior staff to perform field activities including geotechnical drilling, laboratory testing and construction observations with subcontractors.  - Coordinate geotechnical tasks and manage medium to large size geotechnical projects. - Review construction submittals and daily field reports. - Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and prepare geotechnical reports for the design and construction of shallow and deep foundations. - Review work of and mentor junior staff. - Prepare contract specifications and drawings. - Interrelate with external clients and subcontractors. We are looking for someone with the ability to provide quality technical support on mainly transportation but also commercial, municipal, energy and water projects.
