From geotechnical and structural engineering to civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering, Kleinfelder's collaborative Design Services create synergy across multiple disciplines to support our growing Mid-Atlantic Energy and Abandoned Mines Programs.      Step into Your New Role  Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Mid-Atlantic design team which supports both our Abandoned Mines Program and Energy clients. Duties include the creation of designs, reports and calculations on complex energy, abandoned mine reclamation and discharge treatment projects in our team orientated environment. This position will participate in the technical execution of engineering projects including site designs, environmental permitting, site modeling and grading. The successful candidate will interact with PMs, senior operations and technical staff and provide guidance for task management of entry level professionals. This is a hybrid position between our Pittsburgh and State College offices.   The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, however experience in Pennsylvania with PA DEP and the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation is a plus.  The ideal candidate will understand engineering practices and principles as they relate to surface water resources and site planning activities with specific experience in the Florida regulatory environment. Project types include surface mining, wetland and stream restoration, reclamation analyses and site water resources engineering. By providing oversight and leadership for the transportation business, this person will lead the group's expansion from strategy to execution, ensuring that the right people are engaged and the right clients and projects are pursued. The responsibility includes client satisfaction and performance evaluation. The expectation for the position will be to organically grow the business by 5-10% year over year. We seek a leader who will recruit and retain excellent talent, collaborate with other leaders, and ensure that up-and­ coming talent is hired and given challenging development assignments.     Century Engineering, a Kleinfelder company, is currently seeking a motivated Public Utility Designer with 3-5 years of applicable experience in the practice of gas and or electrical design.
